Grown at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level in Costa Rica's Chirripó Valley, El Alto Estate benefits from cool mountain temperatures and significant day-to-night variation, allowing coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop exceptional sweetness.
Processed by Passiflora Micromill using Costa Rica's signature Red Honey method, part of the fruit mucilage is retained during drying, creating a cup that balances clarity, sweetness and a smooth, rounded body.
The aroma opens with citrus and brown sugar. In the cup, raisin, citrus and apricot jam lead into berry jam and rich brown sugar sweetness, finishing with a lingering roasted sweet potato note.
A beautifully balanced coffee for those who appreciate sweetness, complexity and an elegant finish.
